Method 1: Appearance structure

The structure of the bellows gate valve is more complicated than the bellows globe valve. From the appearance point of view, the bellows gate valve is higher than the bellows globe valve under the same caliber, and the total length of the bellows globe valve is longer than the bellows gate valve.

Method 2: Performance difference

When the valve flap of the bellows globe valve is changed to a throttle valve flap, it can stay at a certain position in motion and be used for flow adjustment, and the bellows gate valve can only be used for full opening or full closing. In addition, because the bellows gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, when it is fully opened, the flow resistance of the medium in the valve body channel is almost zero. From the perspective of flow resistance, the bellows gate valve has a small flow resistance and a ripple when fully opened. The flow resistance of the pipe stop valve is large. The flow resistance of the ordinary bellows globe valve is 3-5 times that of the bellows gate valve.

Method 3: Seal the difference

The bellows globe valve has only one sealing surface, and the spool only contacts the sealing surface when it is fully closed, so the wear of the sealing surface is very small. The bellows gate valve is sealed by the two sides of the valve core gate. When the valve is opened and closed The sealing surface of the core and the valve seat is always in contact and rubs against each other, so the sealing surface is prone to wear.

Method 4: Installation and flow

The effect of the bellows gate valve in both directions is the same. There is no requirement for the inlet and outlet directions of the installation, and the medium can flow in both directions. The bellows globe valve is a one-way flow, which needs to be installed strictly in the direction of the arrow mark of the valve body.
