Surface Treatment Excellence

To ensure long-term durability and performance, the valve body underwent blasting to SA 2½ standard, achieving a surface roughness of 50–100 micrometers prior to assembly. This treatment not only guarantees optimal adhesion of coatings but also enhances corrosion resistance. After processing, the valves were protected with oil and sealed in plastic bags to prevent rust during storage and transportation.

Non-Destructive Testing for Ultimate Safety

Every Cowinns valve passes through rigorous Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) procedures. For this order, penetrant testing (PT) was performed to detect even the smallest surface discontinuities, ensuring structural integrity and flawless performance under the most demanding conditions.
